HTA New Plant Awards, sponsored by Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).
As an exhibitor at the HTA National Plant Show, you can enter the prestigious HTA New Plant Awards. Entry is free and creates a valuable marketing opportunity at the show.
The HTA New Plant Awards will be displayed in 2 areas, one in centre of Hall1 and Hall 2 and will showcase the best in new plant introductions from plant suppliers.

Exhibitors can enter plants into the following categories:
- Herbaceous Perennials
- Annuals, Tender perennials and container & basket plants
- Flowering Houseplants
- Foliage Houseplants
- Cacti & Succulents
- Trees
- Shrubs (including Conifers) & Climbers
Take photos of your plant at its best
Does your new plant have a lot to offer but maybe isn’t looking its best at the right time for the HTA’s New Plant Awards? The National Plant Show may be at the back end of June but we all know that a truly great garden plant doesn’t necessarily put on its best display.
Perhaps it has stunning new foliage or flowers in spring, or puts on a fabulous floral display, fruits or berries later in the summer, autumn or even winter or has autumn foliage colour or wonderful winter stems. If so, make sure you take photos of all these ‘off-season’ features and submit them when you enter the New Plant Awards. The winning plants need not be those looking the most eye-catching on judging day. We’re looking forward to receiving more photos of plants this year to go alongside your entry.
