National Children's Gardening Week - 23 to 31 May 2020
National Children's Gardening Week (and the promotional campaign leading up to it) promotes the benefits that gardening has for children. It promotes gardening to the parents and grandparents of nursery and primary school age children. As a garden business you can tap into the campaign free of charge. Have a look at the video and our information pack on how to benefit and get involved
Inspirational gardening projects
Through to June we'll post kids' gardening project projects at least every week on Facebook in the build up to National Children's Gardening Week. You can share these projects with your customers through your own social media or communications. The projects inspire people to 'give it a go'; they all come with a shopping list for the project and full instructions. All you need to do to share a projects is:
1. Follow National Children's Gardening Week on Facebook: www.facebook.com/nationalchildrensgardeningweek
2. Share the posts that promote a gardening project on your own Facebook page or other social media accounts
It's that simple. By working together we can give these fun gardening projects huge exposure, inspiring more people into gardening.
Get involved: in-store support materials
You can order free point of sale for use in store by phone or from our web store:
The point of sale includes sticker sheets; A3 and A4 posters; table talkers; A5 leaflets and 'empty belly' posters (A2 or A3) you can use to promote anything you're doing in store. The materials are great for if you want to run any in-store events or promotions related to children's gardening, either during or in the run-up to National Children's Gardening Week. You can also download artwork to use in your own promotions.
Supporting Greenfingers Charity
We're using National Children's Gardening Week to raise the profile of Greenfingers Charity to the general public. This should make it an exciting and motivating week for families and and colleagues working in the garden industry to get behind.
