Promoting Gardening

The National Garden Gift Voucher scheme is all about promoting gardening. We use it to support several campaigns through the year that you can use in your business. There are no fees for getting involved - just great  ways to tap into some exciting promotions through the year.

A Santa & Rudolph display unit

Christmas social media prize draw

Running through Christmas 2018, all you need to do is put up one of the free Santa and Rudolph photo display units in your store. Shoppers snap themselves as Santa or Rudolph; when they share the photo on the National Garden Gift Voucher Facebook page and tag the garden centre they're in they can enter a prize draw for £50. Great fun, and a great way to get mentions on social media for your garden centre!

National Children's Gardening Week

This promotion runs from March to the week itself - 25 May to 2 June 2019. It aims to inspire the families of nursery and primary school age children to have a go at a fun gardening project and to take part in events and celebrations of the week being organised by garden retailers. We publish fun gardening projects on social media which garden businesses can share and adapt into their own promotions.

Photography competition

This competition will run from June to September 2019. It's very simple - gardeners can submit a photo to go on the greetings wallets and gift card designs for National Garden Gift Vouchers. The prizes are eye-wateringly good; promoting the competition through the summer is a great way to keep your business or brand 'front of mind' among your shoppers and customers.

Gardening is good for you!

This media campaign will run through 2019. We'll be providing stories on the health benefits of gardening to the media, and providing you with content you can use in your own promotions.
