How we shop, live and look

A really interesting read, John Lewis' annual retail report for 2019 looks at the public events that affected their sales in the last year. They look at how we 'shopped, lived and looked', and make their predictions for trends likely to surface in 2020.

Including:

> The Easter weekend heatwave leading to a 76% increase in lawnmower sales

The war on plastic driving sales of the reuseable stainless steel straw up by 1573%

The trend for 'Urban Farming', where they predict growing awareness of responsibility to the environment will see consumers continue to utilise underused urban space to grow their own food in 2020.

And much more!
