This year the APL Awards 2019 will be hosted by Jamie Butterworth who will be joined by Adam White talking about the adventures of his career so far.

Plantsman and horticulturist Jamie Butterworth wears many hats. Training at RHS Wisley before going into become show plant manager at Hortus Loci, Jamie is an RHS Ambassador and spends much of his time travelling across the UK showing secondary school students just how fun, exciting and rewarding horticulture truly is. For the past year, Jamie has worked with the UK's natural paving specialist, London Stone to bridge the gap between hard and soft landscaping. Most recently, he set up his own soft landscaping company operating through the home counties and London.

Adam White is the President of the Landscape Institute. He is also a Chartered Landscape Architect and Fellow of the Landscape Institute. In 2008 he established Davies White Ltd with fellow landscape architect Andrée Davies. Together they have won two RHS Gold Medals, two RHS People's Choice Awards and an RHS Best in Show award. The event is proud to recognise and reward the high standard of landscape contracting carried out by APL registered members. We use the APL Awards to promote members’ commitment to quality landscaping and keeping their customers completely satisfied.

Alongside our high-quality presenters, the Awards lunch will provide plenty of opportunity for networking with key players from across the industry as well as a chance to view a snapshot of all shortlisted projects in our reception room before the event.

Set in The Brewery, the venue occupies the site of the former Whitbread Brewery in East London, the awards are set in a brick lined room with a 170-foot king post timber roof, with an unsupported span of 65 feet giving an uninterrupted view across the room and will provide a fantastic setting for this year’s APL Awards.
