HTA Members are encouraged to stock up on National Garden Gift Vouchers and National Garden Gift Cards ready for the busy Christmas season ahead.

Free point of sale materials for both vouchers and gift card are available to order, including Christmas promotional posters. Our research has demonstrated how businesses that make greater use of POS materials turnover a higher number of vouchers – helping to drive footfall into their stores.

New for 2018 will be a series of new wallet and gift card designs – the result of our national photography competition supported by garden centres across the UK this autumn. These will be available to order early in the new year. The winning designs can be viewed here

This will be the first part of a wider campaign in which the National Garden Gifting Schemes will be used to promote gardening to the public in 2018. The way we will do this is by collecting inspirational garden content that you can share with the public via your newsletters, social media and other channels. We will use the HTA’s channels to promote direct to the public too. The idea being that by working together with our members to share this content we will have a much bigger impact than working in isolation. Keep an eye on our website and Enews for further updates as they become available.

In a new initiative showing support for the wider industry consumers ordering gift vouchers online from are now able to make a voluntary donation of 50p to Greenfingers for every purchase made.
