Team Administrator

We have an exciting Team Administrator opportunity at the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA). You will provide professional and efficient administration support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Executive Assistant in line HTA policies and procedures. This role is responsible for supporting the SLT and the business with day-to-day administration tasks including coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, taking meeting notes, acting as a point of contact, assisting in report/presentation/document preparation, supporting financial tasks and projects, and providing cover in the absence of the Receptionist.

This opportunity is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about learning and developing in their role, with aspirations to advance a career within the Executive Team.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualifications, Experience & skills

  • Previous proven experience in a similar Administrator role.
  • Excellent communication skills including fluent in both written and spoken English; strong written skills are essential.
  • Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills IT Literate with demonstrable knowledge of MS Office including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of working in a receptionist role would be an advantage.

This role is an office-based role, we operate a hybrid working office, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office based in Chilton, Oxfordshire.

 

About HTA

The HTA have 1400 members which include garden retailers, growers, landscapers and suppliers to the garden industry. As one of the largest membership organisations, the HTA have run the National Garden Gift scheme since 1962 which provides consumers with a UK-wide scheme encouraging both new and existing gardeners to visit garden centres and retail nurseries. 

The HTA lobby and campaign on behalf of our members within the horticulture industry and provide a range of member services including, business solutions, events, market information and learning & development.
