The Association of Professional Landscapers Awards 2026
Friday 13 March 2026
Each year since 1995 we have been proud to recognise and reward the high standard of landscape contracting carried out by APL registered members. We use the APL Awards to promote members’ commitment to quality landscaping and keeping their customers completely satisfied.
So much can be gained from winning an APL Award – from coverage in trade and consumer press to raise your profile, improve your reputation with clients and show you’re a quality landscaper to raising morale in the team and making your company more appealing to work for. A priceless marketing tool for just a little bit of your time and a small entry fee that will give your landscaping projects, your company and your staff the recognition they deserve.
Worldskills UK
World Skills UK (WSUK) are an independent charity and a partnership between employers, education and governments.
Together, they are using international best practice to raise standards in apprenticeships and technical education so more young people and employers succeed. The APL are a competition organising partner, working with employers and colleges to put young people through this fantastic competition.

- Registration: 2 – 27 March, 2025
- Entry: 2 March – 30 April, 2025
- Qualifiers: 1 May – 27 June, 2025
- Finalists announced: 9 July 2025
- National finals: Date TBC, venue in South Wales
Groundsfest
16 - 17 September 2026
GroundsFest is the largest, annual, free must-attend event for grounds staff, greenkeepers, landscapers, designers & architects, gardeners, local authorities, estate managers and contractors.
The event combines indoor business and education opportunities with outdoor demonstrations. After an action-packed day at GroundsFest unwind and continue networking at the unique live music festival.
The APL team will be at GroundsFest where they will support members with any questions or queries
Futurescape
12 - 14 October 2025
The UK’s largest landscape expo & trade event, with seminars, live debates & fantastic variety of exhibitors
FutureScape 2026 is an unmissable event. An event which enables business professionals to make strong and valuable connections for the future development of landscaping, garden design and grounds maintenance – from start-ups, small and growing businesses to large organisations and practices.
The APL host their Annual Meeting as well as announcing the APL Award Finalists for the APL Award 2027!
