APL Team & Committee

Phil Tremayne has worked for The HTA since 2010 and has been managing The APL since 2013. Phil has worked in many sectors of the horticultural industry and uses that experience to support the members.

Simon Abott went straight into landscaping after leaving school and working for himself, through his journey that has taken him from college to an expert judge at WorldSkills as well as becoming a training manager for team UK. He then went on to represent the UK in WorldSkills 2011 in which he achieved a silver medal. With his expertise he will use this to help APL members grow and reach their full potential in the industry and providing support to Phil in the Northern regions of the UK.

Natalie joined The APL in 2018 and in that time has been an enormous support to The APL manager and its members. Natalie brought with her experience of working as an Architectural Technician for 13 years. Then as a career change she studied  horticulture (ONC) and garden planning and design (HNC), whilst working part time in a garden nursery. Natalie has a love of plants. This, combined with the other experience was exactly the skill set we were looking for at The APL.
