This Retailer Plant Health Day, Wednesday 5 March 2025, the HTA along with APHA and Defra will be hosting a seminar event focusing on "Protecting our Plant Supply Chain and your Business". This event is available for delegates to book one place per company. If you wish to bring more than one person from your company, we can add them to a waitlist. 

The day will start with a welcome from Fran Barnes & key points from Nicola Spence. It will be a useful, information-packed day with expert speakers and topics covered to include high-risk pests and emerging biosecurity threats, updates on plant passporting,  APHA’s surveillance work and pest and disease interceptions,  CITES, & the Border Target Operating Model (BTOM).

In addition we will discuss the work being done to raise consumer awareness of biosecurity, and also certification schemes and the role they play in biosecurity.
