This award focuses on a nursery’s commitment to its staff and their development and well-being.
Please describe in 300-800 words (as a guide) why you wish to nominate the nursery for the ‘Blooming Marvellous Employer’ award. This award is about recognising and rewarding a grower who has a strong, positive culture, an engaged workforce, and a clear commitment to their employees’ development.
What do we need?
Factors you could comment on might include: commitment to continuous development, opportunities for career progression, staff training opportunities, high levels of employee engagement, a diverse and inclusive work culture, flexibility and a focus on employee wellbeing, strong leadership and management, generous employee benefits, a high standard of staff accommodation (where offered), SMETA audited, any other factors you feel are relevant and which make this business stand out.
When a business has been nominated, they will then be asked to provide a brief comment as to why they feel they should win and to provide any additional evidence such as staff newsletters or examples of internal comms, vision and value statements, staff posters, etc.
