Alan Titchmarsh pledges support for the industry with his new YouTube channel

17 March 2025
As visitors to the Garden Press Event last month will have heard, “Gardening with Alan Titchmarsh” is a new channel set to launch on YouTube and other social media platforms in April 2025. The channel will celebrate Alan’s horticultural legacy whilst providing a platform for a wealth of tips and ideas. The Horticultural Trades Association has been working with the producers since last summer to share insights and discuss content ideas.
A number of gardening brands have signed up to be official suppliers to the channel with Alan using their products in several of his videos: Blue Diamond, Forest Garden, Fothergills, Gardena, Melcourt, Spear & Jackson and Taylors Bulbs.
Alan Titchmarsh said:
“I’ve always been a proud supporter of the UK gardening industry, and I’m thrilled to be working with some of the best in the business on my new channel.”
Alan Titchmarsh is one of the most recognisable names in gardening. The new channel will feature the horticultural legend sharing his vast knowledge and experience in a series of videos aimed at inspiring gardeners worldwide.
Weekly episodes will offer viewers a mix of entertaining ‘how-to’ videos, informative tips, specific masterclasses, and helpful, accessible advice from Alan, making it an exciting and fresh online resource for both new and experienced gardeners.
Alan’s videos will be published simultaneously on newly created YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok accounts to maximise engagement with the audience.
“Gardening with Alan Titchmarsh” is produced by Middlechild Productions, an independent production company based in London and Brighton. Executive Produced by David Sumnall and Matt Young.
Matt Young is one of the most experienced producers of gardening content working in the UK. He was the Executive Producer of “Love Your Garden” on ITV, alongside Alan, for over a decade. He was also the creator and Executive Producer of “Garden Rescue” for the BBC, now in its tenth year.
