Finalists revealed for APL Awards 2025

The Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) has unveiled the finalists for the prestigious APL Awards 2025. The announcement was made today at the APL Annual Meeting, which took place during the Futurescape event on 15 October 2024.

With an exceptional level of skill on display and a record-breaking number of entries, this year’s competition set a new standard in the world of landscaping. The judging process proved more challenging than ever for the expert panel, who were tasked with selecting the best from an array of outstanding projects.

The judging took place over three intensive days, led by a panel of respected industry professionals chaired by Richard Barnard (Kings Oak Landscapes) with Rod Winrow (Garden House Design), Bob Sweet (BBC Gardeners’ World Live), Laura Anstiss (Oakmore Green), and APL General Manager, Phil Tremayne.

In a joint statement, the judges shared their thoughts on the entries:

“This year's submissions really showcased the exceptional talent, craftsmanship, and innovation that APL members bring to the landscaping industry. It was a privilege to review such outstanding work. Although it was a tough process, we have selected a supreme winner, and we’re confident the industry will be as impressed as we were.”

The winners of the APL Awards 2025 will be revealed at the awards ceremony, taking place on 14 March 2025 at The Brewery, 52 Chiswell St, London EC1Y 4SA.
