HTA celebrates Greenfingers partnership at 25th anniversary Floral Ball

4 July 2025

The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) recently celebrated its long-standing partnership with Greenfingers Charity at the charity’s 25th anniversary Floral Ball, held at Coombe Abbey in Warwickshire. The event brought together supporters from across the horticulture industry to mark this milestone and highlight the charity’s vital work creating therapeutic gardens in children’s hospices across the UK.

Fran Barnes, Chief Executive of the HTA, said:

“The HTA values its longstanding relationship with Greenfingers, which includes support through the National Garden Gift Card scheme as well as various fundraising initiatives.

“The work this charity does truly makes a difference for children, their families, and hospice staff across the country. The garden spaces they create are valuable in every sense, providing numerous benefits to children with life-limiting conditions.

“The Floral Ball is not just an enjoyable occasion and fundraiser, but one which shows the passion within our sector for supporting such a worthy cause. The HTA and our members are proud to be one of those supporters, having raised over £64,000 in the past seven years. We congratulate and thank Linda Petrons and the Greenfingers team for their hard work and dedication to making a positive impact through gardens, green spaces and nature.”

With every National Garden Gift Voucher purchased, not only do customers gain access to a world of greenery, but they also contribute to the Greenfingers Charity – helping to create magical gardens for life-limited children and their families to enjoy
