HTA comment on the AHDB ballot result

Commenting on the AHDB ballot result, HTA chairman, James Barnes said:

“We recognise that clear views have been expressed via this ballot. We all deeply care about our sector’s future and this includes appropriate levels of funding for research and development if we are to advance and grow as a ‘green growth’ industry. We await to hear what the next stages are from Government, but we will be making the case to Ministers that the ornamental horticulture sector must be part of the discussion on its future”.
