Top award winners announced at Garden Press Event 2025

The Garden Press Event 2025 brought together around 400 members of the garden press and media at the Business Design Centre in London on 18 February. Organised by the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) and GIMA, this premier one-day exhibition featured 100 exhibitors, showcasing a diverse range of gardening and environmental horticulture businesses, brands, and events. 

A highlight of the event was the announcement of the winners of two key awards: the Bob Maker Memorial Award for Best Stand Display and the Best New Product Award. The latter was determined by votes from the attending press throughout the day.  

Best New Product Award 

The coveted Best New Product Award was won by The Dipping Tank Company for the second consecutive year, this time for its innovative new accessories designed to enhance the storage of harvested rainwater. 

Andrew Cousins from the Dipping Tank Company said;  

“It’s amazing to receive this award, and to win it two years in a row is incredible! Last year, we were recognised for the core idea of our product, which offers a new way to store harvested rainwater. This year, we’ve been honoured again for the innovative accessories that make it even better. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who voted.” 

Best Stand Display Award 

The Best Stand Display Award was presented to HSK Gardening and Leisure, marking an exciting milestone for the company’s first appearance at the event. 

HSK Gardening and Leisure representatives shared their excitement;

"I’m absolutely speechless! This is the first time we’ve actually done the show, so it's amazing! We were  testing the waters this year as we’ve got new products to launch and it's so nice to get this recognition. It’s been a fantastic team effort and we have our new branding too which we love, and now other people have agreed with us. How exciting!”
