HTA comment on the appointment of Eluned Morgan as First Minister of Wales

Commenting on Eluned Morgan being sworn in as the new First Minister of Wales, Fran Barnes, Horticultural Trades Association Chief Executive, said:

Hot on the heels of the publication of our new Environmental Horticulture Growth Strategy —a vision for Wales, we are keen to ensure that Environmental Horticulture is seen at the heart of Welsh government as part of the solution to the challenges we all face – in the economy, environment and our health and wellbeing.

“We look forward to working with Baroness Morgan to represent our Welsh members and highlight the crucial role of gardening and environmental horticulture in delivering tangible benefits to communities throughout Wales.
